Reaching Communities

There are many opportunities to get involved in and around the local communities of Rivas, Nicaragua. Located in the province of Buenos Aires, our property sits among farming communities, schools and low income homes which all provide excellent community service opportunities for teams hoping to make a difference. By using the property and facilities at Campo, teams can host multiple types of vocational classes involving local parents and farmers by teaching “ESL” (English as a second language) in our buildings or irrigation and harvesting skills on our 50 acres of land.

Medical skills can always be put to good use; classes on purifying water, nutrition and proper hygiene are common areas that need to be addressed.

Maybe your team can adopt a school and contribute something new on an annual mission trip like books or money to buy badly needed black boards and desks?
